Dhampus Sarangkot is short hiking trek around Pokhara valley. Sarangkot is just above Pokhara city and is famous for viewing magnificent views of himalayas.Pokhara is a phenomenal place of natural beauty on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal,situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. Sarangkot hill is famous for sunrise/sunset view/mountain view.At an elevation of 1590m,Sarangkot is perched on a high ridge to the northwest of Pokhara and has panoramic mountain views from Dhaulagiri and across the Annapurnas to Manaslu,as well as south over the Pokhara valley.
Dhampus is the beautiful village settled by Gurung community.It is the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Dhampus Sarangkot trek is an ideal trek for first time visitor who are not experienced trekkers and for the travellers who have limite time to experience the trekking of Nepal.From Dhampus and Sarangkot, you can see high peaks of Annapurna mountains range and diverse landscape with varied culture and tradition. Good accommodation and meals are available in this trekking region. Ethnic culture, Spectacular mountain view, beautiful gurung villages, Buddhist monastery, paved courtyard are the main attraction of this trek.

Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing(4-5hr)
You will be Proceed on to Boudhanath Stupa ,Patan Darbar Square ,Pasupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath Stupa after breakfast in the morning . Swayambhunath is asaid to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird’s eye view of the Kathmandu City. Tour of Patan is known as Lalitpur or the “city of beauty” is the oldest city in the valley. A great center both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples. Overnight in Kathmandu

Drive to Pokhara (200kms / 6-7 hrs)
Morning drive to Pokhara valley , famed for its emerald lakes and awesome snow peaks looming overhead. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight at your hotel in Pokhara.
Drive to Phedi and trek to Dhampus (1,750m.) 4-5 hrs Trek.
After breakfast, we drive about half an hour from hotel to Phedi. Then, we start our trek ascending to Dhampus village for 3/4 hours.On the way, We pass through beautiful rice terrace, settlement and green forests.Overnight in Dhampus.
Trek to Sarangkot (1,590m) 5– 7hrs Trek.
After breakfast,we continue our trek to Sarangkot.we get oppourtunity to explore rice paddies field, hills, landscapes and beautiful views of the Himalayan ranges. Sarangkot hill is famous for sunrise/sunset view/mountain view.At an elevation of 1590m,Sarangkot is perched on a high ridge to the northwest of Pokhara and has panoramic mountain views from Dhaulagiri and across the Annapurnas to Manaslu,as well as south over the Pokhara Valley.Overnight at lodge in Sarangkot.
Trek to Phewa Lake ( 2-3hrs )
Early in the morning,we enjoy glorious sunrise view and mountain views from Sarangkot.After breakfast, we start our trek descending downhill with magnificent mountain view and Pokhara city.Free time at Phewa lake. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Pokhara – Chitwan(5-7hr)
After breakfast, drive through scenic mountain highway to Chitwan (187kms/5-6 hrs).
Chitwan National Park is proud to be called Asia’s one of the best managed parks and is home to over 50 species of mammals, 55 species of amphibians and reptiles and 525 species of birds. Wildlife that thrive here include; the great one-horned Asian Rhinoceros, Gaur, wild Bison, sloth Bear, four different species of Deer, the Rhesus Monkey and the black-faced Langur, the spotted Leopard, the fish-eating Gharial, the flesh-eating marsh Crocodile and the Gangetic Dolphin among many others. It is also one of the last refuges of the Royal Bengal tiger. The birdlife too is very rich and varied and a delight for Ornithologists.
Transfer to the resort in Chitwan. Lunch at your resort
Afternoon, commence on an elephant back safari to explore the jungle and the various wildlife: the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, Himalayan sloth bear, spotted leopard and, if lucky, the elusive nocturnal Royal Bengal tiger too. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours.

Chitwan Wildlife Activities

Jungle walk tour allows you to explore different habitat, from the flood-plain grassland to the dense Sal forests, where you get the opportunity of good animal sights at your own pace. Since it is disturbs the animals less while walking through the forest, it is usually a better chance for discovering wildlife. During the walk, you will also get a chance to see the different kind of plants and herbs in the National park. The naturalists can give thorough descriptions of the wildlife and herbs there.
Floating down on the River by dugout canoe is the best way to discover the habitat of crocodiles on the bank of the river. It is also a relaxing and better way to watch the different kind of aquatic birds and wildlife species when they come to the bank of the river to drink water
Chitwan – Kathmandu(5-7hr)
After breakfast, commence your return journey back to Kathmandu. (Possibility to fly back with supplementary charge). Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu
Final Departure
Our driver will transfer you to the international airport to connect your onward flight.

Payment of the Balance
Rest amount can be paid before a month of your arrival. If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card a handling charge of 4% on the outstanding balance is made. There is no handling charge for payment by bank transfer.
Last Minute Booking
We accept your last minute booking for ONLY IN CASES OF NEPAL TRIPS, but LAST MINUTE BOOKING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR BHUTAN AND TIBET TRIPS).
Refund Policy
No refund will be made for 30% deposit amount in case of cancellation of trip for any other else reason but we are flexible to postpone your trip in any later days. Having paid full amount of any trip, you will get your money back but still cancellation charge (20%) is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip.
Supplement Charge
On our holidays tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to client who does not have another tour participant to share room /tent with.
Incomplete Tour
No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
Unforeseen Circumstances
If Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Limited cancels your trip because of unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavorable climate etc., we will be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this doesn’t fit your personal interest, all money paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
Clients’ Responsible
A tour / trek guide who represents Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Limited deserves all authority during your tours/Treks.
Travel Insurance
You must purchase comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. This is strongly suggested to all our clients.
Tour Amendment
To make alterations of any trek / tour itinerary, prior notice is requested. You’re advised to stay in touch with us. But occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstance for instance bad weather etc.
Papers & Documents
All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.
Flight Delay/Cancellation
There is virtually possibility of flight delay or postponement for notorious weather in Himalayan regions which could be happened, in particular, in Everest region (Lukla), Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc. In such case your itinerary will be modified.
HSA mission is to finance its community enhancement programs through the revenues generated by tourism. The proceeds from any HSJ organized tour and trek goes 10% directly to uplift educational status of needy children of rural areas of Nepal through Himalayan Community Project.

Our obligations and those of our suppliers providing any service or facility involved in any part of your travel are to take reasonable skill and care to arrange for the provision of such services and facilities and, where we or our supplier is actually providing the service or facility, to provide them with reasonable skill and care. Compliance with any applicable regulatory requirements (such as, for example, those of the Civil Aviation Authority) will be proper performance of our, and our suppliers’, obligations. You must show that reasonable skill and care has not been used, if you wish to make any claim against us.
Termination of your booking
We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to terminate your travel without notice ,If your behavior be such that it is likely in our opinion, to cause distress, damage, annoyance or danger to any other person. In such circumstances, no refund or compensation will be due to you.
Unused Services
No refund will be due to you in respect to the non-utilization of any part of the travel arrangements made for you, by Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Ltd.
Travel Insurance
It is a condition of the agreement between us that you take out adequate vacation and travel insurance against cancelation charges, unexpected curtailment of your vacation, medical expenses arising overseas including repatriation, loss or damage to luggage and personal liability claims against you.Fail to secure such travel insurance coverage prior to your Nepal Travel, then you accept full responsibility for yourself and all of the members of your party, and indemnify Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Ltd and our overseas travel agents and representatives (as applicable) for any and all costs that may arise, which would otherwise have been met, had such travel insurance been in force.

We do our best to ensure that your travel arrangements go according to plan. However, if you have a complaint arising out of what we have agreed to provide for you, please let us know at the earliest possible opportunity. Please Note : If you do not follow our complaint procedure, we cannot accept responsibility for your complaint, as we would have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate the matter on your behalf, and where possible, help you to resolve the problem.
Applicable Law
Any contract or dispute between us are to be governed by and construed in accordance with Nepal law. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Kathmandu City, Nepal.
Effective Date
The effective date of this policy From January 1. 2018 and it replaces all prior privacy policies issued by Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Ltd . We reserve the right to change our policy at any time.
