8 Days & 7 Nights: Morocco's Best Highlights

Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, we will be warmly greeted by our bilingual driver, who is knowledgeable about the area. We will then be transferred to our hotel in the heart of Casablanca. Spend the rest of the day at our leisure, exploring the city or simply relaxing.

We will start our day early, heading to Meknes, one of Morocco's hidden gems among the imperial cities. We will explore the striking Bab el Khemis gate and the nearby Borj Belkari Tower, and discover the exquisite architecture of the Bab el Kari Mosque. Next, we will visit the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its impressive ruins and Jewish heritage. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Fes.

Over 1,200 years old, Fes is a city steeped in history and culture. We’ll begin our exploration in the medieval medina, home to the oldest mosque in Africa, the Qarawiyyin Mosque, and the world's first university. We will visit the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine fountain, and the Bou Anania Medersa. We will also dive into the bustling souks and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the tanneries and local markets. After a day of immersion in Fes’s rich history, we will return to our accomodation to relax.

We will rise early for a scenic drive to Merzouga, with stops in Azrou, known for its lively souks and picturesque landscapes, and Ifrane, often called "Little Switzerland" for its unique architecture. Upon arrival in Erg Chebbi, we will embark on a camel trek into the dunes, arriving at our desert camp. We will enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine, relax in our private tents, and gaze at the stars while soaking in the desert's serene beauty.

­We will start our day with a sunrise camel ride, followed by breakfast at our camp. Our journey will continue through the captivating landscapes of Rissani and Tinghir, with stops to explore Berber villages and the stunning Toudgha Gorge. After lunch, we will drive through the scenic Dades Gorge and onward to Ouarzazate, the "Gateway to the Desert," known for its film studios and historic kasbahs.

After breakfast, we will visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and film location for movies like "Gladiator" and "The Mummy." We will then travel to Marrakesh, where we will have free time to explore the vibrant city at our own pace.

We will spend the morning exploring Marrakesh, starting with the Saadian Tombs, followed by the opulent Bahia Palace. We will marvel at the Koutoubia Mosque, stroll through the Majorelle Garden, and immerse ourselves in the lively atmosphere of the old medina and Jemaa el-Fna Square. 

After our breakfast we will head to Casablanca for our departure transfer. If time permits we will begin our day with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, a breathtaking masterpiece overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. We can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beach or explore the city’s French-inspired architecture. Depending on our flight time, we may have the opportunity to discover more of Casablanca before being transferred to the airport for our departure.
