5 Days Morocco Tour via Tangier - Chefchaouen- Fes - Rabat

We will be waiting for you at the port/airport terminal of tangier and start our 5 days tour by exploring this attractive city along the Mediterranean. We will take you to the old neighborhood of Tangier and explore the old Medina, a blue washed old city against the ocean, then move toward the Cap Spartel where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean meet. Next, we take a drive along the sea to visit the famous Hercules Caves.

After we visit the caves, we will drive from there toward Chefchaouen via the green mountains of Rif and the city of Tetouan known as the North’s white dove. We will reach the Blue City by evening and drop you at your accommodation to rest and then a walk inside the blue washed city of Chefchaouen.

Today, will be heading to Fes. The most historical and cultural city in Morocco.

After morning at leisure in Chefchaouen, we will drive through the Rif mountains to reach the Roma ruins of Volubulis. A Roman and a Berber archaeological site that dates back to the 3rd century BC.

After we visiting Raman site, we will drive further for few kilometers where the whitewashed town of Moulay Idriss and it is Morocco’s most pilgrimage sites.

Then, we continue driving to reach Meknes. A UNISCO site and the most fortified imperial city in Morocco. We will visit the highlight sites of the city among of which the famous gate of Bab Mansour, The Qara prison, L’hdim square, and Sehrij E’ssouani.

We will arrive Fes in the evening and drop you in your accommodation inside the old city of Fes.

Our official local guide in Fes will meet you in your Riad/Hotel and start our Fez old city tour.

We will visit the Famous Blue gate named Bab Bou Jloud which is the entrance to the Medina from the west. Then, continuing to The Quaraouine Mosque which is one of the oldest universities in the world. Next, a short walk down to the Madrassa Bou Inania. Fes’s finest theological college.

We then, take a walk inside the Medina Souks which is the oldest marketplace where Fes’s most special hand craft goods are all over the place.

Our walk continues toward the Tanneries. One of Fes’s most iconic sights and a natural process of high-quality leather with almost the same methods since medieval times.

At the end of the tour, our guide will walk to your Riad/Hotel in Fes.

After breakfast in your Riad in Fes, we will meet again and leave the city of Fes toward Rabat. Th current capital of Morocco and on of the four Imperial cities. We will drive for 3 hours through fields of barely, olives, and grapes to reach Rabat. Once we arrive, we will first visit the famous Oudayas Kasbah which is a fortified walled building against the Atlantic Ocean, it is built once to protect the local people from the Bourghwata pirates. After we visit the Kasbah, we will move to visit one of Rabat’s top sights, The Incomplete Mosque or Hassan Tower. Built in the 13th century in a dramatic location agains the Bou Regreg river, and beside the Tower we will have the chance to take a look at the Mausoleum of the Royal family’s former kings.

Next, we move to Shalah apocalypse which is a former fortified building and a sloping site above the Bou Regreg river. We then, pass by the Royal palace which dates back from 1864 and the principal residence of the Royal family and it is not allowed to visit.

At the end of the day, we will drop you at your accommodation inside the old city of Rabat where you can take a walk inside its white washed buildings and its charming local markets.

Today, we will continue our tour toward Tangier, along the dramatic coastal road to arrive the picturesque city of Asilahthat overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and a stunning town filled with its whitewashed houses, blue washed walls, and doors. Next, we will drive to Tangier where we will drop you at your accommodation or transfer you to your fairy/flight back home.
