Today you'll jump into Hanoi's sights and sounds on a tour that covers all the essentials. You'll visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's former stilt-house residence, The Hoa Lo Prison, The One Pillar Pagoda and The Temple of Literature, which, dating back to 1070, is Vietnam’s oldest university.
After lunch, you will explore the enthralling Museum of Ethnology, which contains an extensive display of life-size structures dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minorities. Arrive in Lao Cai this early morning. Your guide will meet you and take you to have breakfast. Then drive to Cao Son commune, through the Muong Khuong district. Along the way, you will pass terraced rice paddies, pine plantations and the tea farms. Visit busy Cao Son Market, where Red Dao, Tay, Black H'Mong and other ethnic people gather from the surrounding area to sell their handicrafts and silverware and to buy provisions. Later, have a short walk to Flower Hmong Village before have lunch. Drive along the Chay River through the panoramic views of mountains, valleys and villages. On the way, you will enjoy a few photo stops of enjoy the spectacular scenery before arriving at Coc Ly Bridge. Then you will board a local boat and cruise along the river to Trung Do village before continuing onto Sapa.

Today, your trek starts with the Ma Tra Village, and then you will walk through the breathtaking view of the rice terraces and reach the Ta Phin Village (approx. 3 hours), where the Red Dao minority lives. After breakfast, you will take a private transfer for about 3 hrs to Halong City, where you will begin your one and a half days' Halong Bay cruise. You will board the tradtional Vietnamese junk in the afternoon and cruise around the Halong Bay's limestone islets and caves doted the sea and see the sun set over the clam waters at the deck. Enjoy a wonderful dinner at evening. All meals are included during your stay on board. There are also a variety of optional activities waiting for you. Such as swimming, kayaking, diving...etc.

Wake up early this morning to catch the sunrise over the bay with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck. In the early morning, you will head out of the bustling city to Mekong Delta Area. Cruising on the Mekong river for sightseeing: islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix.
Land on Unicorn island, take a walk on the village road, visit an orchard of tropical fruits. Visit a bee-farm, enjoy honey-tea and visit a typical house in Mekong Delta. Visit coconut candy workshop, taste fresh candies. Enjoy tropical fruits at local farm, listen to Southern traditional music.

Depart early morning for a 2-hour drive to the 100-year-old Damnoen Saduak Floating Market located 100 km (62 mi) from Bangkok, one of Thailand’s most famous attractions. Day-in and day-out from about 8 am to about 11 am, the Floating Market is routinely crowded with hundreds of vendors and purchasers floating in their small rowing boats selling and buying or exchanging their goods. You will have a chance to take a ride on a long-tail boat to get a real sense of a floating village. After the long tail boat cruise around the village, you will stop at a transit point where you can choose to further explore the floating market by a 4-seat boat or stroll around by the river's banks.
After having lunch, you will return to Bangkok, and you will visit Wat Pho, which is one of Bangkok’s oldest and largest temples. Wat Pho was built by King Rama I about 200 years ago and houses the gigantic, gold-plated Reclining Buddha image. This unique image is 49 meters long and 12 meters high with beautifully inlaid mother-of-pearl soles. Your last stop is The Royal Grand Palace, the nation's landmark and the most revered royal monument. You will see the Palace, which is used for many different occasions, and you will see The Coronation Hall, the Funeral Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the mysterious, famous Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.
Good to know
Most temples & palaces in Thailand are sacred places, so you'll need to respect the strict dress code in place. You'll need to wear pants or a dress/skirt that extends well past your knees, and a top that fully covers your shoulders. (No shorts, mini-skirts, short skirts, tight-fitting trousers, tights, see-through shirts, culottes, or quarter-length trousers, sleeveless shirts, or vests and sandals (without ankle or heel straps), etc.
The Grand Palace does offer clothes rental service in which you can borrow some stylish trousers and/or tops for a refundable 200 baht deposit from an office near the entrance. Hang onto your claim ticket, however, as you will need it to get that deposit back.

Your morning half-day Chiang Mai old-city, temple tour takes you on an unforgettable drive through many different parts of the city. Your tour includes Wat Pra Singh which is one of over 200 ancient Buddhist temples located around the city and one of the most well-regarded examples of Lanna architecture. A half-day package to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary offers you an enjoyable opportunity to spend quality time with elephants in their natural home, as well as gain an insight into their history and behavior, and create cherished lifelong memories of their time spent with these amazing animals.
Today you will be picked up from your place of accommodation and will drive through scenic agricultural areas before arriving at the Sanctuary. There, you will meet your English-speaking guide and learn a little about the elephants, before changing into traditional Karen clothing.
After being allocated bananas and sugar cane to feed to the elephants, you will walk with your guide through the Sanctuary, where you will find free-roaming elephants and hear their individual stories. You can touch, feed, photograph, and interact with the elephants at your leisure while you learn about their lifestyle and behaviors.

We would deeply regret that you decided to cancel the trip, although, we believe in most cases, it is not necessary.
In the event of cancellation, we will refund any payment made to UME Travel (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.

For some items, such as hotels in peak season, airlines, Cruises, bullet train tickets/flights tickets, certain tickets/reservations for theme parks, games, shows, restaurants, and special experience may result in full charges upon cancellation.etc, it cannot be refunded and changed once has been reserved and issued whether or not booked 21 days before or after.
2. For clients booking a trip to China with us, we provide a free Invitation Letter for the Chinese visa obtainment process. However, if the client requests to cancel the itinerary, a handling fee of 10% of the total tour cost will apply, regardless of when or what reason a cancellation is requested.
3. As each country and region has the peak travel season due to different holidays, the following time periods are not applicable to the above policies. The following periods can only be free-cancelled 30 days in advance. For the client who cancel the trip within 30 - 14 days, we will refund the remaining balance after accounting for the actual costs incurred.

Alteration of Itinerary
Alterations to your itinerary before the booking are happily processed free of charge. Alterations after payment of the deposit will attract a fee of $25.00 per request. All expenses incurred by UME Travel in alteration of the booking are the responsibility of the customer. This includes all fees and charges levied by third parties such as cruise operators, airlines and hotels.
Travel Documentation
All clients must be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. UME Travel accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.
Health Requirements
Clients should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize themselves with health requirements applicable to the areas they intend to visit. The client is solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate stating that the he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal. This is a necessary requirement because of the possible effects that the very high altitude may have on certain people.
Insurance
UME Travel tour packages include Ping An Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance up to a maximum of $29,000 provided free of charge as part of our package. We still highly recommend that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from you country of origin. Insurance provided by UME Travel is not applicable where only hotel is purchased through UME Travel.
Complaints and Claims
Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service UME Travel has provided, please notify your 7x24 hours available travel advisor or UME Travel Customer-care service (Phone no. +1 (213) 451-8029) to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.
In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. UME Travel will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
Communications
You can contact UME Travel via the web form from www.umetravel.com, email, fax, or phone. If for any reason, you fail to receive any reply from UME Travel in regard of your tour status within 48 hours from the time you submitted the request for booking, modifying, or canceling a tour, please contact UME Travel immediately to ensure that we are able to deal with your enquiry under the terms of our Terms and Conditions.
Liability & Responsibility
UME Travel provides tour information and tour bookings. UME Travel publishes travel information and services gathered from the selected quality hotels, air ticket agencies and tour companies & operators. UME Travel will not be responsible for errors, emissions or inaccuracies in information provided by third party providers.
UME Travel shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent or fraudulent, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by those suppliers or any other party not directly owned or controlled by UME Travel.
UME Travel shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, alteration of itineraries or cancellation in part or in full, caused by climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond UME Travel's control. Neither UME Travel nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes
UME Travel is not responsible for a client's failure to comply with customs regulations.
UME Travel is not responsible for the theft or loss of any customer's valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer.
UME Travel reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, trains, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If UME Travel has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, UME Travel is liable for a full refund of the money received from the client.
Many of UME Travel tour packages include activities which require care and attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. UME Travel, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its said employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
UME Travel reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole, or in part at any time with or without notice.
Modification or Discontinuance of Service
UME Travel reserves the right to modify or discontinue service to clients who behave illegally or objectionably toward its employees and agents. Offensive behavior includes behavior which is obscene, racially offensive or of a sexual nature.
