Today you will leave the capital of Chile, Santiago, to hear about San Pedro de Atacama. Upon arrival at Santiago Airport, you will connect with a local flight from Santiago to Calama Airport. From Calama Airport you will take a Shuttle Transfer to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

We will pick you up at your hotel to leave San Pedro de Atacama and enter to the world's most arid desert. We will reach the walking starting point and begin this Salt Mountain Range Night Trek for two to three hours. We will have the experience of being in the desert at night, and see the landscape changes, depending on if the tour is made in a full moon period. Although the terrain has ups and downs, it is more physically demanding.

On the tour, we will have a moment to rest and watch the sky with naked eye, because we will be in the Atacama Desert, one of the best places to the observation of the night sky, due to the low humidity and lighting in the surroundings. We will pick you up at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama to go to our base, from where we will begin the Salt Mountain Range buggy tour. In the morning we will pick you up at your accommodations to leave the city towards Ralún, in the Reloncavi Estuary. In this place, you will be able to see the native forest surrounding the roads that pass by the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. Then, you will go to Cochamo, a typical town of Southern Chile in the middle of the evergreen Valdivian rainforest and the coast of the Los Lagos Region.­

After that, you will continue the road to Puelo, the area where the river of the same name was born in Lake Puelo in Argentina. Finally, you will reach the Sol Hot Springs, located at Puelo. The 10 thermal pools are constructed with stones in a space that has 300 meters of walkways. The temperatures vary between 96.8 and 113ºF, and they emerge from a natural source at 140ºF. After relaxing and enjoying the landscape, you will return to the city to end the tour.

Your first stop will be "Saltos del Petrohue" this place is the Entrance of the "Lago de Todos Los Santos" at the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. Here you can enjoy some hikes or just a car ride around the park. From there we will begin a half an hour's walk for the tracks through a native forest and, if the weather permits, we will see the Osorno Volcano in the background and the first views of the turquoise waters of the Petrohué River. In the lookout points, we will see the falls, places where the river passes by big masses of crystallized lava. After that, we will continue to the Petrohué Port, on the shores of the Todos Los Santos Lake. Upon Arrival, at Petrohue you will have time for a Photo Session where you will get some really incredible shots!

You will spend your day relaxing on the lake Grab your swimsuit if it´s summer or a Poncho if it´s winter and spend your day by the lake shore or the lake beach, the lake is perfect for kids to go swimming since the water is very calm and not too deep.

You can also try the local Food which is an Exotic mixture of German Cuisine and Chilean Cuisine You will find Dishes like The Crudo which is Raw Meat cooked with lemon juice.

A must is to enjoy some coffee at the lake border where you can enjoy the peace the Llanquihue Lake will give you.

We will pick you up in Puerto Varas to begin this Llanquihue, Frutillar & Puerto Octay tour. The first city that we will visit will be Llanquihue, known for its cold meat factory and to be the place where the Maullín River rises. Following the Camino del Lago (Lake Road), we will arrive in Frutillar to learn its history and about German settlers that arrived there, and the emergence of the city as a loading bay.

We will see its old houses, always with the volcanos in the background. In addition, you will have the option to visit the Museo Colonial Alemán (German Colonial Museum, not included; 4 USD). We will walk by the lakeside path and see the Teatro del Lago (Lake Theater) built on it. Finally, we will visit Puerto Octay, the first departure port of agricultural products to Osorno. We will tour its old streets and the Main Square, listening to the history of the German settlers in the area.

After the tour you will  be transferred to PMC Airport for you to take your flight back to Santiago.
