This trip takes you to Africa's Great Migration which is the annual journey of over two million wildebeest from the plains the Serengeti in and the cradlle of mankind in Ngorongoro, Tanzania to the grasslands of the Masai Mara, Kenya. Pure instinct and the smell of rain drives the herds from their birthing ground to the fertile Mara to feed. You will Track the Mountain Gorillas and Chimp Tracking while you Explore East Africa’s Most Prime Destinations.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Transfer to Serengeti
Descend into the Crater at Ngorongoro and then spend the morning on your game drive in the crater after transfer to Serengeti National Park with Picnic lunch. Arrive in time for your afternoon/evening game drive at Serengeti. The park is famous for the Great Migration, the annual journey of two million wildebeest and zebra from the plains of the Serengeti to the grasslands of the Masai Mara in Kenya
Day 3
Game Viewing in Serengeti National park
Instinct drives the herds from their birthing grounds to find fertile lands in the Mara to feed. The migration can be seen every month of the year, starting with the calving season in the southern Serengeti from January to March. After they’ve given birth, the herds move north through the Serengeti, eventually arriving at the banks of the Mara River, swollen by the floods of the rains and teeming with the crocodile. The herds must cross to find fresh grazing, and they plunge into the river by the thousands. Those that survive the crossing must stay alert enough to avoid the big cats lurking on the far side. At some point, the grasses will be exhausted and as birth time once again approaches, the herds will wander back south. If you would like to see the migration, you need to plan your safari to be in the right places at the right times.
Day 4
Transfer from Serengeti to Masai Mara
You transfer from Serengeti with another game drive while checking out and on arrival at Isebania Border for -/+ 2 hours go through the immigration process for -/+30 minutes then enter Masai Mara for -/+ 4 hrs. Arrive Masai Mara late in the evening have an evening en-route game drive.

Game Viewing in Masai Mara And Hot Air Balloon
Early morning balloon safari This is a unique experience that takes you over the diverse habitats of the Masai Mara Reserve, fly over the great Mara River, swamps, forests, wildlife & the African Savannah therefore followed by bush breakfast Continue with your full day of game viewing at Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Day 6
Transfer from Masai Mara to Nairobi flight to Entebbe
Wake up very early in the morning and transfer from Masai Mara to Nairobi for -/+5 hours passing through the great plains and upcountry of this amazing plains arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon time for lunch and your guide will drop you at the airport for your domestic flight to Entebbe and your guide in Uganda will pick you up then transfer you to your lodge for -/+15 minutes.
Day 7
Transfer to Kibale national park from Entebbe
This morning you will embark on your Journey to the world primate capital for -/+4 hours where you will arrive in time for lunch and indulge in the short crater lakes tour of the countryside with a special experience in Kibale forest which is home to the most primates of the world.
Day 8
Chimpanzee Tracking
Early morning your guide will transfer you for a chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale forest which will be -/+4hours and then return back to the lodge, the afternoon have lunch and then evening at leisure while exploring the crater lakes around this whole area.

Day 9
Transfer to Bwindi Forest
Early morning transfers to Bwindi forest, which is a home to the gorilla mountain of which this is home for half of the only remaining gorillas in the world your will arrive in the later afternoon with evening at leisure and dinner served in the stars.
Day 10
Gorilla Trekking Experience
This is everyone’s dream day, after breakfast your guide will transfer you to the briefing point where you will go through the instructions while to do gorilla tracking then be allocated with a gorilla family and a guide ranger depending and later after your tracking have lunch in the evening have an evening walk to the Batwa Community culture.
Day 11
Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi for Entebbe airport
Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi with a stop at the Equator Entebbe arriving in the late afternoon, have a day’s room at Boma Hotel and later your guide will transfer you from your hotel in Entebbe to the airport for your flight back home.

GOEXPLORE BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS 2024 – 2025 (starting from Wednesday 7th August 2024)
1. Booking Confirmation:
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable 30% deposit.
However, for trips that include Gorilla & Chimpanzee trekking permits, confirmation will need a non-refundable100% payment for the permits, and a 30% deposit for the main trip no later than 7 days after confirmation of the trip. This is the only way we can guarantee a space on the trip.
2. Payment:
Full payment is required 30 days prior to the tour departure date. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.
3. Primate Permits:
• Gorilla permits are 800 US$ per permit in Uganda
• Gorilla permits are 1,500 US$ per permit in Rwanda
• Chimpanzee permits are 250 US$ per permit Both in Uganda & Rwanda
• Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking are subject to availability of permits, which are limited to 8 per Gorilla family per day and 6 per Chimpanzee family per day.
• Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking permits cannot be held / secured / booked – they are only secured once physically paid for. We can check availability of permits but we cannot hold them.
We will invoice for the permits, and as soon as the funds clear in our account, we will go ahead and purchase.
• Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking permits are non-transferable and nonrefundable.
• Minimum age limit for gorilla trekking is 15 years and 12 years for Chimpanzee trekking.
4. Cancellation Policy:
• 60 days or more prior to arrival – no cancellation fee applicable
• 59 - 31 days prior to arrival – 30% cancellation fee applicable
• 30 - 16 days prior to arrival – 50% cancellation fee applicable
• 15 days to arrival – 100% cancellation fee applicable
• “No Shows”, a 100% cancellation fee applicable
Note:
o Gorilla & Chimpanzee trekking permits’ deposit payment is nonrefundable.
o We are always flexible with our terms depending on the prevailing situations.
Amendments:
Changes to the booking (e.g., date changes, name changes) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
6. Travel Insurance:
It is strongly recommended that all clients purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may affect their travel plans. Insurance must include but not be limited to emergency operations, repatriation expenses, personal accident injury and death. In addition, the Client must be comprehensively insured against any loss or damage due to the loss of baggage or personal belongings and for flight cancellations or delays.
7. Responsibility:
GoExplore shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expenses incurred due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, political instability, or personal negligence.
8. Health and Safety:
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to undertake the tour. Any health or dietary requirements must be communicated in advance.
9. Documentation:
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any other necessary travel documents required for the tour.
10. Force Majeure:
The tour company reserves the right to modify or cancel tours due to force majeure circumstances. In such cases, clients will be offered alternative options or a refund, minus any non-recoverable costs.

There is an additional cost of approximately $188 (per vehicle) which transfers guests to the tracking start point, waits and returns them to the Lodge.
