Stop 1: Whistler

You'll begin your second day in Whistler, the world-renowned resort town known for its exceptional skiing and alpine beauty. Take in the mountain air, explore the charming alpine village, and savour the numerous activities this year-round destination has to offer.

Stop 2: Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal  

The terminal has several amenities for travellers, including a food court, gift shop, and a children's play area. There is also a large parking lot available for vehicles and bike racks for cyclists. BC Ferries operates several routes from Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, including service to Victoria, Nanaimo, and the Southern Gulf Islands. The terminal is open year-round, with the schedule varying depending on the season and demand.

Stop 3: Swartz Bay 

The main B.C. The ferry terminal for Victoria and southern Vancouver Island, Swartz Bay is the province’s second largest and busiest ferry terminal after Tsawwassen. BC Ferries provides vehicle and passenger ferry service between Vancouver and Vancouver Island, as well as the Gulf Islands, the Discovery Coast Passage, and the Queen Charlotte Islands. BC Ferries serves 47 ports of call on 25 routes throughout British Columbia, carrying over 22 million passengers and 8 million vehicles annually. 

Stop 4: The Butchart Gardens 

The Butchart Gardens is a group of floral display gardens in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia, Canada, located near Victoria on Vancouver Island. Come enjoy the breathtaking 22 ha (55 acres) of gardens year-round. In Spring, countless tulips, daffodils and hyacinths will give you a buffet of colours. 

Stop 5: Craigdarroch Castle 

Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, is a historic, Victorian-era Scottish Baronial mansion. It was designated a National Historic Site of Canada due to its landmark status in Victoria. 

Stop 6: Inner Harbour 

This scenic patch of waterfront is the location of Victoria's many tourist attractions, recreational activities, restaurants and shopping. For a special treat, have afternoon tea at the Grand Empress Hotel or board a ferry for a harbour tour. 

Stop 7: Legislative Assembly of British Columbia 

The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is the deliberative assembly of the Parliament of British Columbia, in the province of British Columbia, Canada. The Legislative Assembly meets in Victoria. Members are elected from provincial ridings and are referred to as Members of the Legislative Assembly.

Stop 8: Empress Hotel 

National Historic Site of Canada Overlooking Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbor, this historic hotel features extensive spa treatments and a selection of on-site restaurants. 

Stop 9: Fisherman's Wharf

Stop 11: Victoria’s Chinatown National Historic Site (Pass By) 

Victoria's Chinatown is a vibrant and historically significant district located in the heart of downtown Victoria, British Columbia. Established in 1858, it is one of the oldest Chinatowns in North America and holds a rich cultural heritage. Walking through the streets of Victoria's Chinatown, visitors are immediately greeted by a vibrant and bustling atmosphere. Colourful storefronts adorned with traditional Chinese architecture line the streets, creating a captivating visual experience. Intricate red and gold decorations, ornate pagoda-style rooftops, and hanging lanterns add to the charm and authenticity of the area.

Stop 1: Victoria

Start your day in Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia and a vibrant cultural hub on Vancouver Island. 

Stop 2: Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal

After you visit Victoria, return to the mainland via the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. It's a crucial transportation hub connecting the mainland to Vancouver Island.

Stop 3: Canada Place 

Canada Place is an iconic landmark and venue for world-class events and inspirationally Canadian experiences, located in the heart of Vancouver’s waterfront. Canada Place is the home port to the Vancouver-Alaska cruises, and houses Vancouver Convention Centre East, Pan Pacific Hotel, FlyOver Canada, World Trade Centre, and Indigo. 

Stop 4: Gastown 

Gastown is one of Vancouver’s most vibrant and unique areas. As the first downtown core of the city, the neighbourhood has transitioned into a centre of innovation and truly memorable experiences, for locals and tourists alike, while maintaining a strong connection to its history. 

Stop 5: Steam Clock 

A working steam clock, one of only a few in the world, located in Vancouver's Victorian Gastown. The clock is a key tourist destination in Vancouver. It’s also near the start and finish line of the Gastown Grand Prix, a single-day cycling race. 

Stop 6: Robson Street (Pass By) 

Robson Street was one of the first streets in Vancouver and was named in honour of John Robson, Premier of British Columbia from 1889 to 1892. Its commercial traditions date from 1895 when train tracks were laid along Robson Street to Jervis St. A wide variety of small specialized shops sprang up to serve Vancouver’s rapidly growing population, and Robson became a street of best homes and social activities. 

Stop 7: Vancouver Seawall 

Vancouver has the world's longest uninterrupted waterfront path. The 28 km Seaside Greenway is an uninterrupted pathway, including the Stanley Park Seawall, that extends from the Vancouver Convention Centre to Spanish Banks Park. Perfect for a walk, cycle, or jog, it is the most popular recreational spot in the city. 

Stop 8: Chinatown (Pass By) 

One of Vancouver’s few distinct cultural historic neighbourhoods, Chinatown appeals to locals, and tourists, as well as a growing number of emerging chefs, artists, and small business entrepreneurs. Chinatown offers a wide array of stores, including home furnishings, health and wellness, fashion and attire, grocery, and so much more. 

Stop 9: Granville Island 

The charm of Granville Island lies in its unexpected mix of uses. The famous Public Market, open daily from 9 am to 7 pm, is home to more than 50 independent food purveyors and contributes to the Island’s appeal as a renowned culinary destination. In the Net Loft Shops and the Artisan District, many of Canada’s best artists and designers can be found. Granville Island is home to many cultural venues and hosts numerous performing arts and cultural festivals year-round. 

Stop 10: Lions Gate Bridge (Pass By) 

The Lions Gate Bridge is an iconic suspension bridge that connects Vancouver to North Vancouver at the entrance to the Port of Vancouver. 

Stop 11: Stanley Park 

Explore the 400-hectare natural West Coast rainforest and enjoy scenic views of water, mountains, sky, and majestic trees along Stanley Park's famous Seawall. 

Stop 12: Totem Poles 

The totem poles in Stanley Park are one of the park's most iconic landmarks. There are nine totem poles in the park, each representing a different First Nations tribe. The totem poles were created in the 1920s as a way to showcase Indigenous art and culture. 

Stop 13: Prospect Point Lookout 

Prospect Point is the highest point in Stanley Park and offers panoramic views of the park and the city. It's a popular spot for tourists to take photos and enjoy the scenery. 

Stop 14: Girl In A Wetsuit (Pass By) 

The Girl in a Wetsuit Statue is a bronze statue located near Stanley Park Seawall. The statue depicts a woman in a wetsuit sitting on a rock and gazing out at the water. It's a popular spot for taking photos and enjoying scenic views. 

Stop 15: Hollow Tree 

The Hollow Tree is a 700-year-old tree located in Stanley Park that has become a popular attraction for tourists. The tree has a hollow center that visitors can walk through, and it's a popular spot for taking photos and learning about the park's history.  

Stop 16: Brockton Point Lighthouse 

The Brockton Point Lighthouse is a popular spot for tourists to take photos. The lighthouse was built in 1914 and is still operational today. It's located at the eastern end of Stanley Park and offers stunning views of the city and the harbour.
