Short Trip to Kashmir

Start the day with a luscious breakfast, before proceeding towards Pahalgam also known as "the valley of Shepherds", enroute through the National Highway 1 which connects the valley with the rest of the Country through saffron fields and Apple Valley. Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River that rises from the hanging Kolahoi Glacier. Situated at an altitude of 2,130m, Pahalgam offers amazing breathtaking views. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantivarman), see the beautiful countryside on the way and a lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. After lunch, have bridle walks and capture some amazing photos of the magnificent view of mountains. You can stroll along the horse trail to the nearby valleys Baisaran, Chandanwari and Aru Valley (at your own cost - only cars operated by locals are allowed) and witness the striking beauty of mountains. Enjoy walking around Aru Village, a walk along the Lidder stream towards Pahalgam from Aru Village is very highly recommended for Nature Lovers. In the evening drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After having luscious breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Sonamarg also known as "the Meadows of Gold". Enroute through the picturesque countryside ride where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields and majestic mountains. It's a trekker's heaven, a starting point for many treks, spectacular skies, and snowy mountains, huge lake, strewn with the loveliest Alpine forests. You will gasp in wonderment at the golden light that glints from the snow-capped peaks when lazy sun rays fall on them. You can opt for a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (on your own cost) to have some fun in Snow. In the evening drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Post breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed for a day trip to Gulmarg also known as "the meadow of flowers". Enroute through the small picturesque market of Tangmarg. It's a famous Hill station of Jammu & Kashmir and is known for its salubrious beauty and charm. The route is full of Pine trees, Deodars, Amaltas, and Kikkar trees flanking the mountain side. It is known for Ski-Resort and The world's highest 18-hole Golf course. Enjoy the panoramic view of the location, visit the local sites, and later go for the cable car ride (on your own cost), which will take you to the Khilanmarg Snow Point. In the evening drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in a houseboat.

It's time to say farewell to Kashmir. Our representative will transfer you to Srinagar airport on time for onward journey.
