Join us on a Greek adventure, exploring Zante and its neighbouring islands. We'll take you to beautiful bays, visit sea caves and local villages all whilst enjoying Greek hospitality onboard our traditional gulet. We'll start our voyage from the Old Town of Zante, before sailing along the coast to the fishing village of Agios Nikolaos, which is located around a small harbour, dotted with small shops and tavernas. Leaving the island of Zakynthos behind, our next stops are Ithaca and its port townn of Vathi and the often overlooked island of Meganisi, where we'll take full advantage of the secluded beaches. Next, is the picturesque island of Kefalonia, known for having some of the very best beaches in Europe. On Kefalonia we'll make a number of stops in Fiskardo, Agia Efimia and Poros. Our final stop is the famous Shipwreck beach on the north coast of Zante, before we return to Zante Old Town where our voyage comes to an end

Program zájezdu

Day 1

Embark in Zakynthos

For the first day, as it is the arrival day, we won’t embark from the port, at least not until 17:00,. thus in case you have arrived prior to the embarkation and have some time left, we suggest you roam around Zante’s main port and enjoy some local Greek seafood, by one of the many local restaurants, located on the marina!. If you have plenty of time, be sure to check out the Byzantine Museum, as well, which is located in the heart of Zante’s main town, the national Marine Park and the famous Lagana Bay strip!. In the evening, we set off for Agios Nikolaos, while we have our welcome dinner, on board!. | OVERNIGHT: On board gulet. | MEALS: Dinner
On day two, we will be heading to Kefalonia’s Agia Efimia, which is a traditional fishing village centered on a small harbor. It contains a number of taverns, bars and shops, a traditional wood-fired bakery, as well as tourist accommodations and local residences. In the evening, stroll through this beautiful, picturesque village and take your pick of Greek eats, from the idyllic tavern-lined promenade, where you can watch the sunset while enjoying your traditional Greek food!. | OVERNIGHT: On board gulet. | MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch
On day 3, we will head to Ithaca, and Vathi specifically, which is Ithaca’s most famous port. While in Vathi, you will have the chance to explore its famous local markets, which are packed with Greek products/foods, souvenirs and other “goodies”!. Laying in between Kefalonia, and Lefkada, Ithaca offers a unique combination, of crystal-clear waters and dark green forest scenery!. | OVERNIGHT: On board gulet. | MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch
On day four, we leave Ithaca behind and we will sail to Meganisi, which many people do not know about, as this beautiful Island is often “overshadowed” by its complex main Island, Lefkada. That said, we will enjoy our lunch onboard, as usual and we will look specifically for coastal relaxation at some of its many secluded bay coves, to anchor there and enjoy the beautiful Greek night sky!. | OVERNIGHT: On board gulet. | MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch
With white pebble beaches, striking blue seas and its lush green countryside, Fiskardo is one of Greece’s best-kept secrets. On the fifth day, we sail to Fiskardo!. You can easily explore this town with a rental bike/car, bicycle or even on foot!. Watch the fisherman go about their work, from one of the seafront cafes, before enjoying some of the best seafood at one of the excellent local taverns, that stock the best catch of the day, the Island has to offer!. | OVERNIGHT: On board gulet. | MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch
With plenty of secluded bays and scattered sea caves with shallow waters, this part of Kefalonia is every explorer’s dream!. Enjoy your lunch on the vessel, while we sail towards bustling Poros, the second-largest village on Kefalonia. Visit the pebbled Kanoni beach and sandy Harami beach and admire Greek nature, from up close. Full of bars and tavernas Poros is the epitome of old-school Greek charm. | OVERNIGHT: On board gulet. | MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch
Before we head back to Zante, we will visit the beautiful Shipwreck Beach and village on the east coast of the island, enjoying an onboard lunch on the way for some final sweeping sea views!. We spend the night in the Marina of Zante Old Town, where we enjoy a Captain’s dinner with the group in our final farewell. | OVERNIGHT: On board gulet. | MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
As we have successfully cruised around Zante and its island complex, this is our departure day. We say goodbye to each other, take some last photos and head back!. Hopefully, though, we will see you again. Until then, we wish you all the best!. | OVERNIGHT: N/A. | MEALS: Breakfast

Podrobnosti o zájezdu

accommodation

7 nights gulet accommodation in a double cabin.

Our tours in Greece use a range of hotels mainly at the local 4-star level with some more boutique style properties or deluxe guesthouses also used where possible, especially on the Greek Islands. Please check the Accommodation section for more information on the normal accommodation used on this tour. This list is given as a guide though and hotels may change from time to time to others of a similar standard. If you have specific requests for individual hotels, please contact us about a private/tailor-made tour.

We regularly inspect all the hotels we use to ensure that the service you receive is as close as possible to your expectations. Please check your hotel room when you first arrive (hot water, cleanliness etc.), as our rep will be available for a short time to help in case of any problems.

We will contact you with your arrival hotel details normally a couple of weeks before departure.

Check-in Times: Official hotel check-in times in Greece are between 14.00 and 15.00 and from 17.00 on our Greek Gulets. However, we do always try to ensure that if you arrive early, you can check into your room as soon as possible. We can nearly always get you into your hotel rooms by midday, but please understand that it is out of our control if the hotel is full and it takes a little longer. You will have full use of the hotel facilities while you wait if there is a short delay.

Greek Islands: The winter season on the Greek islands (November to March on Santorini, October to April on quieter islands) is very quiet, with many hotels closing completely. When necessary we therefore book alternatives that we feel provide a good experience suitable to the season. This generally means we aim more for smaller boutique style hotels and guesthouses that have a better location, being much closer to the shops and restaurants that are still open, rather than larger more properties further out that may have swimming pools and more space (which would not generally be used in winter anyway due to the cool weather, even were they to remain open).

Flights are not included.

Services of captain and supporting crew

You will be looked after by the boat captain and their crew. The captain and most crew will speak some English - enough to communicate effectively, if not fluently. We do not send an additional tour guide on our gulet cruises.

Pojištění není v ceně. Pro tento zájezd je nutné cestovní pojištění. Ujistěte se prosím, že jste dostatečně pokryti.
