Itinerary

India's Golden triangle tour coupled up with Varanasi and Goa is a perfect gateway to Indian Art & Architecture. This tour begins with arrival at Delhi, where the heart of India lies. It has a strong historical background and offers a sedate blend of culture, art and modern architecture. It has various historical monuments, popular architectural marvels, mesmerizing natural scenic wonders, that are simply breathtaking. Tour proceeds with Agra, which is home to the worldwide renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site - Taj Mahal. Next is Jaipur founded in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. It is believed that this city was built following the principles of Vastu Shastra (a traditional Hindu system of architecture). This tour then takes you to the holiest city of India “Varanasi” famous for its Ganga Aarti, mystical and spiritual legends, Temples and ghats signifying the lifecycle of birth and death. Your tour ends with a visit to Goa, called the Portugal-inspired city of India since it was ruled by the Portuguese for more than 450 years. The sandy beaches, relaxed vibes, rocking nightlife and most importantly, the beautiful churches of Goa, declared as UNESCO World Heritage sites, that have  deep-rooted connections with the making of Goa.

Day 1

ARRIVAL AT DELHI

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Delhi. Day free at leisure. Delhi: Delhi has been the national capital of India for more than 100 years and is an idyllic symbol of the magnificent past and thriving present of India. This city fascinates its visitors with its blend of various nationalities, diverse culture and traditions, heritage of the bygone eras as old as 4th century and modernization of lifestyle and culture - all at once. Day 2

DELHI SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, proceed with Delhi sightseeing tour with first visit to the Jama Masjid - the largest Mosque in India. Visit Chandni Chowk – oldest, biggest bazaar of Old Delhi. Later, walk up to Fatehpuri Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride till Red Fort. Here our driver will meet you, drive past Red Fort (a 17th century historical fort in Delhi) and reach Rajghat, a memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. An eternal flame burns on one side of this memorial. Visit the Humayun Tomb - first garden-style tomb of India. The main highlight of this tomb, inspired by Persian architecture, is the four garden squares with water passage channels surrounding the tomb. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan - residence of the President of India and India Gate - an archway built in honor of the soldiers who died in World War I. Visit Qutub Minar built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak in 1193 to mark the beginning of Muslim rule in India. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 3

DELHI - AGRA (205 KM/APPROX. 4-5 HRS)

After breakfast, you will head to Agra. Agra: It a beautiful city situated on the banks of river Yamuna that achieved prominence as the capital of the Mughal Emperors from 1526 to 1628. It still remains a popular tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era monuments, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri, all three are UNESCO World Heritage sites. 

Upon arrival in Agra, check-in at the hotel. After some relaxation, visit the Agra Fort that resembles the magnificent Red Fort in Delhi. The Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience ) and the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) are a must-see attractions here. Later in the evening, visit the Taj Mahal - the most extravagant symbol of love, dedication and purity ever that took almost 22 years to build. It is an ivory-white marble monument where rests the mortals of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan (who built Taj Mahal) and his wife (Mumtaz). An interesting fact about this stunning edifice is that it turns pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden at night as the moonlight falls upon it. Day 4

AGRA - JAIPUR (260 KM/APPROX. 5-6 HRS) VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI

Post breakfast and check out, drive to the beautiful city of Jaipur, also known as the Pink City of India. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city of the Mughal Empire. The city boasts some of the magnificent monuments built during the Mughal Era, which include the Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chisti. You have time to explore the corners of Fatehpur Sikri before continuing your way. Continue drive to Jaipur. 

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Jaipur: Jaipur is a city known as the Pink City of India due to extensive use of pink sandstone in various buildings of the city. Its monuments showcase a myriad of architectural styles and its vibrant bazaars are famous for traditional handicrafts and jewellery. The ambiance of this city speaks volumes of the rich lifestyle of the Rajput Kings. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 5

JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, head for Jaipur sightseeing. Visit the Amer Fort dating back to 16th century that displays private halls, pavilions, former private chambers of the King and royal Rajput women. The reflection of this fort falling on the Maota Lake, is truly captivating. Enjoy a Jeep ride here. Explore the City Palace consisting of former private and public chambers, silver vessels, courtyards, gateways, private chambers of the King and lot more. Later, head to Jantar Mantar. It is an astronomical observatory that features the World’s largest Sundial - Samrat Yantra. Visit the Hawa Mahal - a five-storey palace built in 1799 during Rajput rule. It is popularly known for its intricately-designed 953 windows adorned with spectacular latticework. Later, afternoon is kept free to visit the famous Markets of Textiles, Gems, Carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying souvenirs. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 6

JAIPUR - VARANASI (BY FLIGHT)

After breakfast, our company representative will drive you to the Jaipur Airport to board your flight to Varanasi. (Flight Ticket is not included in the package cost) On arrival at Varanasi, our company representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Day free at leisure. 

Varanasi: It is a city located on the banks of River Ganga that is the 2nd largest river of India. Fornerly known as Kashi and Benares, this city is around 3000 years old. It is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites of Hindus as it is considered to be the abode of Lord Shiva (God of Destruction). Every year, Hindu devotees visit this city to take a holy dip in the River Ganga that is said to wash away all the sins.

Day 7

VARANASI SIGHTSEEING

Your Varanasi sightseeing tour begins with an early morning boat ride on the River Ganges. Enjoy soaking in the spectacular sunrise views and later, return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, head to Sarnath. It is the place dotted with various Buddhist pilgrimage sites of great significance. If you’re a devout follower of Buddha then you must visit this place. Later, visit the New Vishwanath Temple also known as the “Birla Mandir”. Settled within the Banaras Hindu University, it is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva (God of Destruction). It took around 35 years to build this temple. Head to the Tulsi Manas Temple built by the royal family of Banaras in 1964. It is believed to be the place where the legendary poet Tulsidas wrote the great Indian epic “Ramcharitramanas”. Close to this temple is the Durga Temple (Monkey temple) dedicated to Goddess Durga (divine feminine energy). In the evening, witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. Day 8

VARANASI - GOA [BY FLIGHT]

Breakfast at hotel. Our company representative will drive you to Varanasi Airport to board your flight to Goa. Goa: It is a much-loved tourist destination located on the banks of Arabian Sea. It is a tropical beauty that attracts a huge number of tourists from around the world. The vibrant beaches, rocking nightlife, beautiful churches, authentic seafood, beach-side forts and the bustling bazaars in Goa is something that is definitely worth exploring! On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Goa.

Day 9

GOA SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, for Goa sightseeing tour begins with visit to the Basilica of Bom Jesus dedicated to "Bom Jesus" meaning “infant Jesus”. This is about 400-years old UNESCO site that stands unique from other churches with its un-plastered exterior. Built in the year 1594, it is one of the magnificent examples of Baroque architecture. Next, visit the Se Cathedral Church dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria. It is a beautiful edifice graced with superb Iberian façades, intricate mosaic work and carvings. It is renowned for its biggest Church Bell in Goa. Close to Se Cathedral is the Museum of Christian Art that carries a good collection of priest robes, archaics, wine cups (chalices), gorgeous paintings and statues. Later, head to the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception that has the 2nd largest church bell in Goa after Se Cathedral. This church, built in 1541, is dedicated to Mary Immaculate. Visit the Aguada Fort. Here you can witness the confluence of the Mandovi River and the Arabian Sea. This 17th century Portuguese-styled fort is named after a fresh water spring that supplied water to the Aguada Fort - wherein “Agua” is a Portuguese word that means water and “Aguada” means where the water gets collected. Over the years, it lures its visitors with scenic landscapes, spectacular sea views and awe-inspiring historic tales. Spend time clicking photographs here. Drive past Sinquerim Beach, Candolim Beach and Calangute Beach. Visit the Church of Mae de Deus in Saligao, Goa. This pristine white-painted Church built in 1873 is one of the finest examples of Neo-Gothic style of architecture. It is a stunningly distinctive church dedicated to Nossa Senhora Mai de deus (Mother of God). Drive past Baga and Anjuna beach. Visit the Vagator Beach and close to it, is the 17th century Chapora Fort overlooking the Chapora River. It is known for its mesmerizing sunset views in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Goa.

We do not encourage changes in the confirmed arrangements. But if you do need to make amendments in the arrangements already confirmed, we will do all possible to accommodate the changes, depending on the availability of various segments of the tour, for the new requirements. However, the changes will be subject to certain minimum amendment / administration charges.


Booking Policy:

20% of the Tour Cost is required as an initial Deposit. 80% of the Tour cost is required 2 months prior to arrival date.


Cancellation Policy:

  • If cancellation is 61 days or more prior to departure – 20% of the Tour Price paid as Initial deposit shall be retained ;  
  • If cancellation is between 60 days to 46 days prior to departure – 40% of the Tour Price shall be refunded
  • If cancellation is between 45 days to 31 days prior to departure – 20% of the Tour Price shall be refunded
  • If cancellation is within 30 days prior to departure – No Refund

Cancellation Policy for Flight Tickets: 

Flight Tickets booked are non-refundable. Name change and date change can be considered as per the rules stipulated by the airline.

Cancellation Policy for Wildlife Safaris: 

Wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment can be refunded/ adjusted against it.

Please note that the prices quoted are as per the prevailing foreign exchange conversion rates. The final costing will therefore be subjected to fluctuations, if any, and will be accordingly adjusted at the time of receipt of payment.

Other Terms and Conditions

The Users availing services from GeTS shall be considered and reckoned to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions. Liabilities of GeTS shall be restricted to the scope of this agreement.

The User expressly agrees that use of the services is at their sole risk to the extent that GeTS acts only as a booking agent on behalf of third-party service providers, and therefore, all services provided shall be subject to "as is" and "as available" basis and shall be governed by the terms and conditions under which these services are provided by service providers. 

The user agrees that there can be "Force Maj-ure" circumstances accruing out of acts of God, fire, weather, labour unrest, epidemic, insolvency, operational and technical issues, etc. resulting in the service providers such as airlines, hotels, transportation providers not able to honor confirmed bookings. In such an event GeTS shall not be responsible and shall not be liable to pay any compensation, refund, interest or damages and shall have the right to change a schedule, booking, itinerary in the interest of safety, comfort and general well-being of the user.

GeTS hereby expressly disclaims any implied warranties imputed by the laws of any jurisdiction or country and considers itself subject to the jurisdiction only of the courts of NCR of Delhi, India.

Check-in Time :

Throughout the trip, we request all our hotels prepare rooms in time as per your arrival time, especially if you are reaching the hotel prior to normal check-in time. (In India, normal check-in is at 14:00 hrs, check-out is at 11:00 hrs). This may not be always possible to manage early check-in for you; in that case you won't be able to check-in immediately on arrival at some hotels. Includes stops at the spice market, the goddess temple, and Jama Masjid — the largest mosque in India, before ending with an unusual view of the Taj Mahal from the Yamuna.

CITY – JAIPUR

Optional Activities.

1) Hot air Balloon in Jaipur. 

The rides are usually arranged two hours prior sunrise and two hours post sunset. These timings are ideal for the hot air     balloon to operate, as the winds are weak, allowing the balloon a smooth passage. The usual timings for the hot air balloon activity are 5:30 AM during April-June (no evening rides due to immense heat), 6:15 AM and 4:00 AM during September- November and 6:45 AM and 3:30 PM during December to March.

2) Rajasthan Folk Dance Show with Dinner in Jaipur at Narayan Niwas Palace. 

In the Evening we will enjoy a show of folk dances from Rajasthan with dinner included at Narain Niwas Palace.

3) Bollywood Dance Workshop in Jaipur.
