Your 11-day journey begins with a warm welcome upon arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). Here, you’ll meet your tour leader who will accompany you throughout your adventure. Airport pick-up is available at any time of day, and we also offer transfers from hotels in Colombo or Negombo.

Arrival & Leisure day in Dambulla

• Your first stop will be the Royal Cave Temple and Golden Buddha Statue in Dambulla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched atop a 160-meter-high rock, this site is home to Sri Lanka’s largest and best-preserved cave temple complex. Explore the five intricately decorated cave temples, showcasing remarkable historical paintings and sculptures that hold immense cultural and religious significance.
• No scheduled activities are planned for today, giving you the flexibility to arrive at your convenience. After check-in, you can unwind by the pool or on the beach at your cozy seafront hotel.­

Today, you’ll begin your scenic drive toward the eastern coast of Sri Lanka, where the tranquil coastal town of Passikudah awaits. Known for its calm, shallow waters and soft white sands, Passikudah is one of the best spots on the island for pure beachside relaxation.

• In the Morning,you'll explore the magnificent Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic landmarks in Sri Lanka. This ancient rock fortress, built by King Kasyapa (477–495 AD), rises dramatically from the plains and is adorned with vibrant frescoes. It’s considered one of the wonders of the ancient world, celebrated for its advanced engineering and architectural brilliance. Climb to the summit in time to witness a breathtaking  and panoramic views that will leave you in awe.
• Thereafter you'll set off on a Cultural Village Tour, a unique experience that takes you deep into the everyday life of rural Sri Lanka. Begin with a Tuk Tuk ride, followed by a catamaran boat journey across a serene lake, leading you to a local farmer’s home. Here, you’ll witness a traditional Sri Lankan curry cooking demonstration and enjoy a meal of authentic countryside cuisine.
• Thereafter Drive down towards East Coast to your beachfront resort, grab a towel and unwind on the shore, or enjoy a refreshing cocktail under the shade of a palm tree. You’ll have two full days here to relax, rejuvenate, and explore at your own pace.

• ­ In the afternoon, set off on a thrilling 4x4 jeep safari at either Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park both famed for their large gatherings of wild elephants. Spanning over 8,800 hectares, these parks are rich with biodiversity, but it’s the elephants, especially the playful baby ones at the water’s edge during sunset, that steal the show.
