On the way, you will meet locals carrying 80 kg baskets of sulphur on their shoulders down the mountain. The picturesque terraced fields are part of the Suabk irrigation system, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012. Take a short walk through the terraces and enjoy the fresh morning air in nature. From there, drive through the mountains to Bedugul. Before you visit the wonderful water temple by the lake, visit the colorful market in Candikuning, which sells fresh fruits, vegetables, spices and exotic flowers. You then drive to the Alas Kedaton monkey forest, which is home to hundreds of monkeys that, according to local beliefs, are the guardians of a small temple located in the middle of the forest.
