8-Day Group Adventure Through Imperial Cities & the Sahara Desert from Casablanca

We will meet you at your hotel in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, after which we will take a short tour of the city. We will visit the grounds of the immense Hassan II Mosque, one of the Islamic world's greatest monuments, which features the world's tallest minaret and is the only working mosque in Morocco that can be visited by non-Muslims. After our tour we will depart to Rabat, Morocco's diplomatic and administrative capital. We will briefly introduce you to some of the city's most important sights, including the Kasbah des Oudayas and the Mohammed V Mausoleum, before taking you to your riad or hotel to let you settle in. We will spend the night in Rabat. 

After breakfast at your hotel. We will continue to Chefchaouen, as we ascend into the towering Rif Mountains - a dramatic entrance to the vividly blue-colored town of Chefchaouen, set like a sapphire stone among the jagged mountain peaks. Once you are settled in the night’s Riad, you will have some time to walk among the blue and white walls of the medina and explore the unique local crafts markets. With a unique aesthetic framed by an unforgettable view among the mountains, Chefchaouen is a one-of-a-kind destination for photographers. In the evening you can enjoy a traditional meal at one of the hotel's three rooftop terraces before relaxing under the crystal-clear Moroccan night-sky.

After a delicious breakfast, depart from Chefchaouen for a scenic journey to Fes, where history and culture await. Upon arrival, enjoy a half-day guided tour of Fes, led by an expert who will reveal the city’s rich heritage. Visit the remarkable Madrasa El Bouinania, the renowned El Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, and the striking South Tower.

Explore the vibrant Nejjarine Square, home to the historic fountain and museum, and delve into the traditional pottery village. Take in the sights of the king's residence and the centuries-old tanning district, and stroll through the fascinating Jewish quarter. Your guided tour will immerse you in the city's fascinating past, bringing Fes's vibrant culture to life.

After the tour, enjoy some free time to further explore at your own pace. Spend the night in the heart of Fes, surrounded by the timeless beauty of this iconic city.

Begin your journey early as you traverse the picturesque Middle Atlas Mountains, leading you to the edge of the vast Sahara. Settle into a cozy desert-side hotel, where a warm cup of mint tea offers a refreshing welcome. As the afternoon fades, embark on a mesmerizing camel ride across the golden dunes, arriving just in time to witness a stunning sunset. Enhance the experience by learning the art of tying a turban, perfect for capturing the essence of the desert in your photos.

As night falls, indulge in a delicious traditional dinner before gathering around a crackling campfire beneath a sky full of stars. Rise early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes, followed by a delicious breakfast. Afterward, enjoy a camel ride back to your vehicle before setting off westward from Merzouga. Journey through the vibrant towns of Rissani, Alnif, Tazarin, and Agdez, exploring the lush landscapes of the Draa Valley and visiting the historic Tamnougalt Kasbah. After a relaxing lunch, continue your drive to Ouarzazate, passing through the scenic Ait Saouen mountains. Next, we'll head back to Marrakech, with a noteworthy stop at the stunning Telouet Kasbah, tucked in the Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech by early evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, bringing your unforgettable Moroccan adventure to a close.

After a delightful breakfast in your riad, immerse yourself in the cultural wealth of Marrakech as you visit its most iconic landmarks. Wander through the serene Majorelle Gardens, admire the towering Koutoubia Mosque, and explore the historic Saadian Tombs. Marvel at the grandeur of the Bahia Palace before experiencing the lively energy of Jamaa El Fna Square. Lose yourself in the colorful maze of souks, where the vibrant hustle and bustle of local life surrounds you. In the afternoon, you'll be transferred to Casablanca, where the next chapter of your Moroccan adventure begins.
