Itinerary
The 5 Rivers Cycle Path is a varied and picturesque cycle route in the Upper Palatinate, which leads through a beautiful landscape for around 298 kilometers. The cycle path runs along the Naab, Vils, Pegnitz, Altmühl and Danube rivers, linking idyllic villages, historic towns such as Regensburg and Neumarkt as well as numerous natural and cultural highlights. Ideal for cyclists of all levels, the route offers flat sections as well as gentle hills and leads through nature reserves, charming old towns and tranquil river valleys. The 5 Rivers Cycle Path is perfect for a relaxing active vacation and offers a perfect mix of nature experiences, historical sights and sporting challenges.
