Sri Lanka 6 Days Itinerary

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport you will be met by our Holiday Lanka Tours representatives thereafter proceed to Sigiriya by air-conditioned vehicle with English speaking driver. Also, you will visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage near Kegalle village, this orphanage was started by the Sri Lanka Wildlife Department in 1975. The orphanage was founded to care for and protect the many orphaned baby Elephants found in the wild of Sri Lanka. Thereafter proceed to visit Dambulla rock cave temple (Golden Temple) End of your sightseeing tour check in at your hotel in Sigiriya.

After breakfast, climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site it was a castle and joy garden of King Kasapa, known by the locals as the eighth wonder of the world, this ancient royal residence and Fortifications have important archaeological significance and attract many holidaymakers to be consistent. This is probably the most visited traveler target in Sri Lanka. The tour ends with a visit to Polonnaruwa (about 1 hour and 15 minutes) in Polonnaruwa, including visits to the Gal Vihara temple and other attractions, and a return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Breakfast at your hotel travel to Kandy En route visit Matale spice garden, you will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. Thereafter transfer to Kandy (Approx. 1 h 15 min) Kandy is a huge city in focal Sri Lanka. After breakfast, you will start a “Little England” city tour and choose to take a walk on the road. You will also visit the Haggala Botanical Garden and Gregory Lake. After the tour, drive back to Colombo and you will drive through the business district and drive past Pettah, a beautiful oriental market that combines personal, old vehicles, deals, mosques, and protected areas. You have the opportunity to see Hindu temples, Buddhist temples, and the Jami Ul Alfar Jumma Mosque in Colombo. Overnight in Colombo
