Rompin Rainforest Explorer

Depart from Kuala Lumpur to Rompin Rainforest Lodge. The direct journey will take approximately 4hours and upon arrival, proceed for check-in and the rest of the day will be leisure on your own (early check-in is subject to availability).

In the afternoon, visit (on your own) Rainforest Discovery Centre. Dedicated to preserving the state park, get to know Rompin State Park’s various plants and vegetations, plus the wildlife. Conclude the visit with a video presentation at the end. If time permits, on your own, continue onward to the nearby 80-metre-long suspension bridge over Kinchin River. Take the opportunity to climb up to the watch tower and be rewarded with a scenic view of the rainforest canopy and fresh air. Dinner at the lodge.

After dinner, meet your park guide for a night walk. The passionate park guide will unveil the interesting night life of the nocturnal animals such as spiders, roosting birds, and lizards. If you are lucky, spot the unique gliding Flying Lemur! Return to lodge and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Sungai Kinchin River Cruise (approx. 2hrs. As you board the river cruise, you'll be greeted by breathtaking views of the lush green rainforest surrounding the river. Throughout the journey, you'll have the opportunity to witness the region's diverse flora and fauna, including monkeys, birds, and other wildlife. Upon arriving at Sungai Kernam, you'll be amazed by the crystal-clear water and picturesque setting. Sungai Kernam is perfect for swimming and relaxing, with its cool and refreshing waters providing a welcome escape from the heat of the day.

Back to the resort for lunch, and afterwards, depart for Trekking to Mahkota Waterfall (approximately 4hrs). 

Mahkota Waterfall cascading 50-metres high located within easy access from the lodge. Set across 3 levels, this unique geological characteristic is a natural sight to behold and take the opportunity to swim at the naturally cold pool at the base of the waterfall. Along the way, visitors can immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the jungle, spot the footprints of elephants (as it serves as their route), and witness the majestic giant umbrella palm tree, known for its splendor.

Breakfast. Check out and transfer back to Kuala Lumpur. Option to Mersing Jetty (approximately 1 hour) for Rawa Island or Tioman Island (with supplement).
