Hut-to-hut hiking in the High Tatras, Slovakia, offers an unforgettable experience for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Staying in the mountain huts adds to the unique experience, allowing hikers to rest, recharge, and savor traditional Slovak cuisine. These cozy lodges provide a warm atmosphere, often with stunning vistas right outside the window. After a day of hiking, visitors can gather around a fireplace, share stories, and enjoy local delicacies, creating a sense of camaraderie among travelers. Whether you’re tackling challenging routes or leisurely exploring picturesque trails, hut-to-hut hiking in the High Tatras combines adventure, natural beauty, and cultural richness, making it a must-do for anyone visiting Slovakia. For this tour you need to have a reasonable fitness level, as you will walk with a heavy backpack which requires certain level of physical fitness.
Fixed tours: from 5th July to 11th July 2025 & from 2nd August to 8th August 2025 & from 2nd September to 8th September 2025, for a minimum of 4 people joining the tour.
From 1st June to 31st October independent groups with a minimum of 4 people can contact us to organise the tour according to their preference and availability.
This tour can be also booked to start and finish in Krakow. If you choose Krakow as your collection and drop off point, an extra fee of 60 euros per person will be added to the tour, for a minimum of two people booking the same tour.

Day 2: Today we will hike from Zelene Pleso via Biele Pleso and Siroke Sedlo to Monkova Valley. Distance: 23 km, elevation: 1081 m.
Den 3
High Tatras Mountains
Day 3: From Zelené Pleso we will go to Zamkovského Chata via Velka Svistovka. Distance: 9 km, elevation: 823 m.
Den 4
High Tatras Mountains
Day 4: Today we will hike from Zamkovského Chata to Teryho Chata. If possible (depending on the weather and the group fitness level) we could continue to sedlo sedielko. Distance: 11 km, elevation 834 m.
Den 5
High Tatras Mountains
Day 5: The hike of today involves going from Zamkovského Chata to Popradske Pleso via Velicke Pleso and Batizoske Pleso. Distance: 19 km, elevation: 674 m.
Den 6
High Tatras Mountains
Day 6: We will hike from Popradske Pleso via Velke Hincovo Pleso to Vysne Koprovske Sedlo. If possible (depending on the weather and the group fitness level) we could continue to Koprovsky peak. Distance: 8 km, elevation: 755 m.
Den 7
High Tatras Mountains
Day 7: This is our last day hiking in the High Tatras. We will finish by hiking from Popradske Pleso to Strbske Pleso, where you will be picked up. We will drop you off at Poprad Train Station, Poprad Tatry airport, or Poprad city centre.
