Itinerary
Considered to be among Costa Rica’s top tourist attractions as they captivate the attention of both tourists and scientists from all over the world, these volcanoes are a key part of this country’s spectacular natural diversity. This is because they have played an important role in how the lush landscape of this region has come into being. Due to the many eruptions over the past millennia, the soil in Costa Rica is rich in many minerals and is very fertile. This fertility in turn has contributed to dense verdant forestation, which supports not only a myriad of bird & wildlife species, but is also home to numerous tropical and exotic plants and trees as well.
Playa Hermosa is one of the best coastal destinations a traveller could hope for. It offers a nice balance of town amenities (grocery store, shops, etc.), a few restaurants, and a number of tour/activity possibilities while maintaining its small-town feel and intimate beach area. Everything else a visitor might need can be found in nearby Playa del Coco (the largest town in the area). The most beautiful beaches of Costa Rica are waiting for you. The beaches are clean and appealing. The water is pure and at just the right temperature. The beautiful scenery is just amazing! And the pictures you will send home are absolutely inspiring.
Guanacaste is famous for its spectacular beaches in the Pacific coast with more than 125 miles of extension. You can fish, swim, dive, surf or take the sun, some of the so many things you can do.
Guanacaste beaches are ideal for surfing, known as one of the five points of the world for the practice of this sport. The fishing in high sea is also excellent since they are carried out championships of this discipline annually.
Some of the beaches are ancestral places where the turtles spawn their eggs.
