You will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi to start the three-day Maasai Mara safari tour with a drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley view point to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will have a stop at the Narok Masai town for hot refueling later driving to arrive at the camp in time for lunch and afternoon game viewing.This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the big five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino). Lunch at the lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses in the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents of the park are Maasai giraffe, buffalo, eland, and thousands of plains game including impala, zebra, topi, as well as both Thomson’s and grants gazelles. The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game drives in this great wonder national reserve. During your stay, you also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. Maasai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi
Have an early morning tea / coffee or hot chocolate, then depart for a morning game drive. Here, you will find the old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected, and the ideal backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition. After a full English breakfast back at the camp, you will be dropped at airstrip to board morning schedule flight back to Nairobi in midday . Met on arrival at Wilson airport and you will be dropped at airport or hotel in the city.
